For Sale
We don't sell dogs—we place companions, confidants, and partners.
Whether you want a steady friend for your children or a capable partner in the field, our Labrador Retrievers are raised with real homes and real relationships in mind—not transactions.
Availability
Our mamas are on break right now. We are not expecting any breedings until the end of 2026. If you'd like to learn more or be notified when we have a litter planned, please contact us.
When you're ready to express serious interest, you can complete our purchase application (short questionnaire, same secure verification as our contact form).
Our approach
Lost Pines Farm is a family farm that raises dogs with the same care we give the rest of our place. We are not a puppy mill, and we never will be. Because breeding is one part of our life—not an assembly line—we only have a limited number of puppies in a given year. That scarcity is intentional: it reflects how we live and how we raise each litter. We do not sell to dealers or pet shops, and we do not take our puppies to auction—every pup is placed directly with a family.
We prefer to offer a meet and greet with our puppies here at the farm before the sale is completed, so you can see where they're raised and spend unhurried time with the pup. We're not interested in handoffs in a random back alley or other unsafe, rushed settings. If meeting at the farm isn't practical, we may agree to meet within a reasonable distance at a safe, appropriate place where you can still interact with the puppy before you finalize the purchase.
If we agree to hold a puppy for you beyond the same day, we require a non-refundable deposit. Details and amount are discussed and confirmed with you directly. A refund of the deposit is only given if we cancel the sale such as we determine the puppy is not healthy enough to go to a new home—not for a change of mind or other reasons on the buyer's side.
Health and the breed
Our focus is on health and on improving the Labrador Retriever over time. We use DNA testing to inform our breeding decisions, we provide DNA testing information on the parents so you understand the genetic background behind your puppy, and our dogs receive routine health checks with our veterinarian so issues are caught early and addressed properly.
If you have questions about our program or timing, we're glad to talk. Get in touch.
Health guarantee
We offer a health guarantee: we guarantee that the puppy will be healthy when the puppy leaves for the puppy's new home.
Vaccines and upset stomach. Some vaccines can cause a puppy to have diarrhea. That reaction is not unusual, is largely unavoidable with certain shots, and typically clears up quickly. Call your veterinarian if you are worried or symptoms are severe or prolonged.
If you have a health concern, you must inform us by email within 14 days of the date the puppy was received, as stated in your sales contract. The concern must be verified by a licensed veterinarian. Depending on the situation, we may ask that the puppy be returned for a full refund, offer a partial refund, or provide additional guidance and work with you to address the issue. Which option we choose is ours alone, at our sole discretion; we aim to do what is best for the puppy.
Limitation of liability. Under no circumstances are we liable for more than the purchase price of the puppy. Notice must be given by email within the 14-day window described above.
You also agree to continue vaccinations and any treatments needed for the puppy to stay healthy, as advised by our veterinarian, if applicable.
